This paper reports a study undertaken using techniques of static and dynamic light scattering to investigate the influence of sodium salicylate and methyl salicylate on droplet size of oil-in-water emulsions. The rates of changes were measured by determining the size and distribution of the oil droplet in the material. All emulsions showed a bimodal size distribution; the mean diameters and polydispersity were calculated from intensity. These data were analyzed with nonlinear regressions and bootstrap methodology. An amount of methyl salicylate component induced a decrease of mean diameter and standard deviation. On the contrary, sodium salicylate entailed the growth of all droplet populations and coalescence for the highest concentration. 相似文献

建立了气相色谱-质谱/选择离子监测法(GC-MS/SIM),检测盐酸鲁拉西酮片中甲磺酸酯类物质残留量。使用DB-624毛细管色谱柱(30m×0.32mm×1.8μm)实现了甲磺酸酯的分离,对提取溶剂、起始柱温、分流比等条件参数进行了优化。在选择离子监测模式(SIM)下,选取适宜的特征离子,进行定性定量分析。结果表明,目标物在0.01~0.40mg/L范围内线性关系均良好,线性相关系数(R2)均大于0.999;检出限、定量限均分别为0.003mg/L、0.01mg/L;在0.16、0.20、0.24mg/L三个加标浓度下,平均回收率为88.43%~104.15%,相对标准偏差为0.97%~1.82%。该方法精密度良好,操作简便快速、准确可靠、灵敏度高,适用于盐酸鲁拉西酮片中甲磺酸甲酯、甲磺酸乙酯和甲磺酸异丙酯残留的同时检测。 相似文献

Caffeic acid (CA) as a strong antioxidant has lower solubility in nonpolar media, which limits its application in the food industry. To increase the lipophilicity of CA, 1‐caffeoylglycerol (1‐CG) was synthesized by lipase‐catalyzed transesterification of alkyl caffeates in solvent‐free system and its antioxidant capacity was investigated. Methyl caffeate was screened as the appropriate substrate from tested alkyl caffeates with a yield of 90.63%. Ethyl acetate was used for extracting 1‐CG from enzymatic reactants and could be easily recycled. The produced 1‐CG had 2.5‐ and 10‐fold lower values of half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) (10.86 and 3.99 μM) than butylated hydroxyanisole by 1,1‐diphenyl‐2‐picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging and β‐carotene‐linoleic acid assays, respectively. Thus, 1‐CG is an excellent antioxidant for application in the functional food industry. Using alkyl caffeates and glycerol as substrates to produce 1‐CG catalyzed by immobilized lipase in a solvent‐free system is a simple, selective, and safe bioprocess that can readily be achieved in the food industry, and the product 1‐CG could be widely applied in food, nutraceutical, and biotechnological products. 相似文献

Owing to the decrease of global oil price, development of downstream value‐added products is important to biodiesel industry. In this study, we used palmitic acid methyl ester (PAME) as a starting material to produce 2‐ethylhexyl palmitate (2‐EHP), an environmentally friendly biolubricant product, which was derived from the transesterification of fatty acid methyl esters and long chain fatty alcohols. Conventional synthetic routes of 2‐EHP have disadvantages, including high catalyst price, low conversion efficiency, and pollution issues. To solve these problems, in situ transesterification of PAME with 2‐ethylhexanol (2‐EH) was conducted over unsupported potassium carbonate as heterogeneous catalyst. The optimal reaction temperature, 2‐EH to PAME molar ratio, and catalyst to PAME mass ratio were 180 °C, 3:1, and 3.0 wt%, respectively. The PAME conversion reached up to 100% within 1 hour under the optimal conditions. In addition, a kinetic model describing the experimental data over a temperature range of 160–180 °C was developed. The dependence of kinetic rate constant (k) on temperature was evaluated, and the activation energy (Ea) for the transesterification of PAME with 2‐EH was calculated to be 57.04 kJ mol?1. 相似文献

γ‐Tocopherol is one of the main constituents in vegetable oils and acts as an antioxidant by trapping lipid‐peroxyl radicals. This study reports reaction products of γ‐tocopherol with lipid‐peroxyl radicals formed by iron‐catalyzed decomposition of methyl linoleate hydroperoxides (MeLOOH) in toluene and methanol solutions. The products in toluene solution were tocored, methyl (8a‐dioxy‐γ‐tocopherone)‐epoxyoctadecenoates (γT‐OO‐epoxyMeL), methyl (8a‐dioxy‐γ‐tocopherone)‐octadecadienoates (γT‐OO‐MeL), γ‐tocopherol biphenyl dimer (γTBD), γ‐tocopherol diphenylether dimer (γTED), and adducts of γ‐tocopherol dimers with the MeLOOH‐derived peroxyl radicals (γTED‐OO‐epoxyMeL, γTBD‐OO‐MeL, and γTED‐OO‐MeL). The iron‐catalyzed reaction in toluene proceeded slowly, whereas the reaction in methanol was relatively fast. The reaction products in methanol were γT‐OO‐epoxyMeL and γTED‐OO‐epoxyMeL together with tocored, γTBD, and γTED. The results indicate that the iron‐catalyzed decomposition of MeLOOH in toluene produces both epoxyperoxyl and peroxyl radicals and that the decomposition in methanol yields only the epoxyperoxyl radicals. These peroxyl radicals could react with the 8a‐carbon‐centered radical of γ‐tocopherol or its dimers. 相似文献

The larva of the hoverfly Microdon mutabilis is a specialist social parasite of the ant Formica lemani that is adapted to local groups of F. lemani colonies but mal-adapted to colonies of the same species situated only a few hundred meters away. At a study site in Ireland,
F. lemani shares its habitat with four other ant species. All nest under stones, making the oviposition choice by M. mutabilis females crucial to offspring survival. In this study, we tested the hypothesis that, as an extreme specialist, M. mutabilis should respond to cues derived from its host rather than from its microenvironment, a phenomenon that has hitherto only been
addressed in the context of herbivorous insects and their parasitoids. In behavioral assays, M. mutabilis females reacted to volatiles from F. lemani colonies by extending their ovipositors, presumably probing for an oviposition substrate. This behavior was not observed
toward negative controls or volatiles from colonies of Myrmica scabrinodis, the host ant of the closely related Microdon myrmicae. Coupled gas chromatography-electroantennography (GC-EAG) that used antennal preparations of M. mutabilis located a single physiologically active compound within an extract of heads of F. lemani workers. Coupled GC-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) tentatively identified the compound as a methylated methylsalicylate. GC co-injection
of the extract with authentic samples showed that of the four possible isomers (methyl 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-methylsalicylate),
only methyl 6-methylsalicylate co-eluted with the EAG-active peak. Furthermore, the response to methyl 6-methylsalicylate
was four times higher than to those of the other isomers. Coupled GC-EAG and GC-MS also revealed physiological responses to
two constituents, 3-octanone and 3-octanol, of the M. scabrinodis alarm pheromone. However, the behavioral trials did not reveal any behavior that could be attributed to these compounds.
Results are discussed in the context of four phases of host location behavior, and of the characteristics, which volatile
cues should provide to be useful for an extreme specialist such as M. mutabilis. 相似文献
